Fostering stories

Hear from some of the incredible foster carers we work with.

Why choose Foster Careline?

We have developed our support package by listening to our foster carers. We are on hand 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days of the year. Here are just come of the benefits of fostering with a local, independent fostering agency.

On call, day or night

We know fostering isn’t a 9-5 job, that is why we always have a member of staff available so you you can talk to someone any time, day or night.

Specialist support

Alongside a dedicated supervising social worker you will have access to a team of specialists including clinicians and an educationalist.

Memberships

Foster Talk and NAFP are nationwide organisations that have been set up specifically to support foster carers.

Peer mentoring

We have regular foster carer forums where you will receive regular training and be invited to contribute to our training agenda each year.

What our foster carers say

What is it like to walk a day in the shoes of a Foster Careline foster carer? Hear from some of our brilliant foster families.

"Foster Careline is amazing because of the support that you get. They do support groups, they do training sessions which are amazing. They really help you and you feel like you have all the tools that you actually need to do the job."

Foster carer

"Fostering was always something I had considered after seeing my best friend’s parents foster when I was younger. However, it wasn’t until the pandemic hit that I had more time to think about my calling in life and started to consider fostering more seriously."

Catherine

"I’d always known that fostering was something that I wanted to do, as a way to share my knowledge with other mums, having experienced similar situations to them. I just felt like I could help so many other mothers secure a better future for themselves and their children."
